THE STORY OF SWOOSH
In 1971, the Swoosh was dreamed up by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson. To celebrate 50 years of her creation, we compiled a film using archival photography, audio and original sketches – which then inspired the world to create their own Swooshes.

We even asked Nike athletes and creators, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ronaldinho and Mia Hamm, to draw their own versions of the Swoosh.
As seen in the film, their creations were also shared on the athletes’ Instagram pages.
